Amber Rane is an experienced and versatile maker of things who has worked as designer, sculptor, costumer, animator, and prop fabricator for a diverse group of productions. She started Ranemaker Studios in 2013, a prop fabrication shop based in Brooklyn, NYC.

Amber is passionate about handcrafted media. Making whacky characters, all things miniature, and anything with googley eyes is what makes her happiest.

Originally from Massachusetts, Amber Rane began her career in Boston's Blue Man Group production where she worked for six years. Some of her recent work can be seen on NBC's The Sunny-Side Up show, Sprout House, and It's Bruno on Netflix.
